Linda Anne Simpson is a proud member of the following organizations:
Once again the HRC has not supported the transgender community and abandoned us to support
non-inclusive ENDA  (Employment Non-Discrimination Act) legislation.
The HRC has a history of abandoning the transgendered except during fund raising.
A former male to female transsexual who transitioned in the early 1990's. Linda had GRS (Gender/ Sex Reassignment Surgery) in Montreal
nor undergoing any on-going gender related processes. Linda is simply living life as the woman she is in a slightly variant form of the
traditional family.

Linda has been married to Jeri since 1982. Jeri and Linda are too much in love to split up over a little thing like surgery for Gender
Correction (after all we are hopeless romantics). Linda and Jeri have since joined that small group who are legally married same-sex
couples in the United States.

Our main focus is on family, as our three children grow up in this non-traditional alternative family. Our goal is to raise our children to be
educated, well rounded but also devoid of the prejudices from our past. As we continue our life journey our children, as well as
ourselves, are learning acceptance and the beauty of the differences that lie in the diversity of people. Beauty that flows far beyond the
limitation of gender.

Jeri and Linda are both retired Police Officers from the State of Wyoming who fell in love with the Seattle area after moving here in 1997.
The two of us returned to school and went to  work in the Software Industry..

Linda is interested in gender issues and has degrees in Anthropology and Psychology. Both Linda and Jeri had co-founded and facilitated
a gender support organization in Salt Lake City, Utah. Linda served a term on the Board of Directors for the Ingersoll Gender Center in
Seattle from 1999 through 2001 and has been a member of HBIGDA / WPATH (Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association
now know as the World Professional Association for Transgender Health) since the 1990's.. Linda also served on an advisory council for
the Seattle Police Department for a number of years. Linda was a member of TOPS (Transsexual Officers Protest and Serve) and is a
founding member of TCOPS (Transgender Community of Police and Sheriffs).

Since 2002 Linda has focused on family, education and career, dropping out of the public circles and from Gender Activism.

Linda likes to play electric and acoustic bass as well as other instruments. Jeri loves to create things of beauty. We love meeting different
and diverse people. We share a passion for music, particularly Jazz and New Age. We love Victorian homes, romantic period art, Japanese
Manga and Anime. Most of all we enjoy beautiful peaceful settings and spending time together.
