| On September 11, 2001 we visited Graceland. We watched the news at Barbs house as the first plane hit the World Trade center in New York and then the next. While at Graceland we kept checking news updates via my newservice paging and walkman radio. Like the Kennedy Assasination and other memorable events I will always know where I was and what I was doing as the news first became known and then unfolded. |
| Durning the week of September 11 I went to visit my dear Sister Barb and her wonderful husband Allan in Memphis, TN. I could have easily stayed there as the weather was warm, people were friendly and there were lots of interesting things to do and see. On top of that Barb and Allan treated me like royalty. |
